How can I save money on my electricity bill in this program with Verde Energy USA?
Verde has developed a very efficient system to purchase energy and thus is able to provide an electric rate through
this municipal aggregation program that is lower than Com Ed’s standard rate. The amount of your monthly savings
will depend upon your level of usage but typical savings for residential customers can range from $200 to $400 or
more annually and typical savings for small business customers can range from $600 to $2,000 or more annually
depending on usage.

How will I be billed?
You will be billed exactly as you always have been by Com Ed. The only difference you’ll see on your electric bill is
that Verde Energy USA will be listed on the supply portion of your bill and our lower cost electric supply rates will be
used in your billing.

Will Com Ed continue to service my account?

Yes, nothing will change in terms of receiving your electricity or any customer service. You will continue to receive
one bill for electricity each month from Com Ed for all charges. Com Ed will continue to read your meter and make
any necessary repairs.

Does it cost anything to take enroll in this program with Verde Energy USA?
There is no cost to enroll in this program with Verde Energy USA.

Can I change my electric supplier again at a later date?
Yes you will still have the right to choose another electrical supplier in the future. Verde is committed to providing our

How can I take advantage of Verde’s Energy Savings Solutions (ESS)?
The ESS tools can be accessed on the home page of this web site (link is on the far right of the top nav bar). These tools will allow you to monitor and analyze your monthly energy usage (including comparisons
versus the average usage for all other customers in your town), access information on how you can reduce their energy consumption, and purchase energy savings products at a 10% discount.
